Celebrate May 25

This date is one of the most special among the national holidays. You’ll find food festivals featuring traditional dishes: empanadas, locro, and pastries, and many of the buildings associated with May 25, such as the Cabildo, organize guided tours and walking tours for that date.
Plus, that day is a holiday, and even though it doesn’t fall on a long weekend (May 25, 2025, falls on a Sunday), it’s always a great opportunity to plan, even if just a brief getaway near Buenos Aires.
