The Obelisk officially opens its viewpoint. Now there is no need to wait for special dates or limited quotas to visit the inside of the Obelisk and reach the top. From November 1st you will be able to go up to the Obelisk viewpoint and enjoy a unique 360° view of Buenos Aires. The visit to the Obelisk viewpoint starts with 8 steps, then an elevator that goes up 7 floors and, finally, a small spiral staircase that takes you directly to the highest point.
Once at the top, there is no more climbing but enjoying the panoramic views from 67.5 meters high, through 4 windows that let you see Buenos Aires like never before. The Obelisk Viewpoint is one of the highest points and since November 1st, one of the most iconic viewpoints in Buenos Aires.
What you can see from the Obelisco Viewpoint
From the four windows at the top of the Obelisk of Buenos Aires you can see some of the most important urban landscapes of the city, a must for a visit in Buenos Aires but also to discover a different point of view if you live here:

The Obelisk was inaugurated in 1936 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the first foundation of Buenos Aires. With its 67.5 meters high, it became one of the most emblematic monuments in Argentina and for many years, the tallest construction as well. Over the years it was the scene of celebrations, protests, shows and now adds this new proposal.
How to visit the Obelisk Viewpoint: Opening Hours and Entrance Tickets
The viewpoint is open every day from November 1st from 9 am to 5 pm. Tickets can be purchased online or in person. If you want to buy your tickets in advance to the Obelisk Viewpoint, buy them online at www.miradorobelisco.com. If you want to buy your tickets to see Buenos Aires from the heights on the spot, you can buy them at the stands on Diagonal Norte Av. and 9 de Julio Av.
