Open House Buenos Aires is the opportunity to get inside the buildings you always see around the city and wonder what they look like inside, who created and designed them, and most importantly, what will it be like to live inside them? During a weekend in October, those buildings that are always closed open their doors so that you can discover them in free guided tours: Open House 2025 has walking tours, bike tours and even a photographic circuit so that in addition to knowing more than 100 unmissable buildings of Buenos Aires, you can take pictures of them with your camera.
Historical buildings, modern jewels, private residences and emblematic places that make up the heritage of Buenos Aires are open in Open House Buenos Aires in October.
Visits do not require prior registration, with a few exceptions. In those cases, registration opens on Friday 3 through Eventbrite. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that some buildings have limited spaces and that the last group may enter up to half an hour before the end of the tour. Don’t delay!
In addition to the access to the buildings, OHBA 2025 adds two proposals that invite you to visit Buenos Aires from new perspectives.
Walk Buenos Aires: is a series of seven guided walks through different neighborhoods, which seek to tell the history of the city through its architecture and urbanism. In this circuit you will walk and discover the architecture of Belgrano, Av. de Mayo (the boulevard of the belle époque) and Recoleta among many others.
Open Bici: if you like the idea of touring Buenos Aires by bike, you can also do it. With six themed bike circuits, you will be able to cross neighborhoods and discover stories from the design, literature and urban fabric from your bike through Barracas, La Boca, Monserrat and Puerto Madero.
