One of Buenos Aires’ most spectacular Neo-Gothic churches becomes the setting for an immersive experience where Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons come to life and fill the walls of this unique church with color. Here’s everything you need to know about this Vivaldi concert in a hidden church.
On Thursday, November 21, 2026, the Hidden Temple in the Barracas neighborhood will open its doors for the premiere of “Vivaldi at the Hidden Temple.”
It’s a visual and multimedia concert where musicians from the Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra perform Antonio Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons live, accompanied by a video-mapping show and architectural lighting that transform the night into an immersive experience. There are only two performances!
What is “Painted Music” and what will you see at the show?
This concert aims to bring classical music to you through technology. While the string ensemble plays live, a massive visual projection inspired by the ebru technique (the ancient art of creating color compositions on water) unfolds in the altar area, causing the image to shift and transform in time with the music.

In addition, a special architectural lighting design created for the occasion highlights the arches, columns, and 19th-century Neo-Gothic lines, turning the Hidden Temple itself into another star of the evening.
The concert will be led by solo violinist Iurii Semikin, a graduate of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow and current violinist with the Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra, accompanied by an ensemble of six musicians that includes a string quartet and a keyboardist.
