Who wants a beach when there are three summer parks full of activities in Buenos Aires? Ok, the beach is a big plus in the heat, but if you stay in Buenos Aires and want to enjoy it almost as if you were near the sea, here are all the activities you will find in Parque de la Ciudad, Parque Costero, Parque Rivadavia, Parque de Los Andes and more all summer long.

1. City Park

This is one of the largest and most important summer parks. There are several activities to enjoy the summer at Parque de la Ciudad. Do not miss the products of the entrepreneurs’ fair and take the opportunity to eat at the tables in the shade and outdoors with all the gastronomic offer of the food trucks. This summer park has water games!

If you are looking for something to do with children in summer, you will also find a space dedicated to children where there are always activities, workshops and free children’s shows.

In the City Park there is also an area dedicated to sports where you can have fun and be entertained with board games.

2. Coastal Park

This is one of the newest summer parks in the city. The Parque Costero is located a few meters away from the Aeroparque, it is 3 hectares with a beach and activities ideal to spend the summer in Buenos Aires that will make you feel like at the beach because it is in front of the river.

In addition, the Coastal Park has a pier for fishermen, a viewpoint with panoramic views, ramps for skateboarding lovers and plenty of green space for picnics, matear by the river and spend the day outdoors.

3. Los Andes Park

On January 24 and 25 and February 7 and 8, Los Andes Park joins the Atardeceres cycle with live music, blankets on the grass and a relaxed atmosphere for your summer evenings in Buenos Aires. From 6pm to 10pm, stay until the sun goes down. On Saturdays you can enjoy live music ranging from indie and pop rock to urban and closes with DJ Set, while on Sundays the plan is more family friendly, with folklore, peña and karaoke.

4. Ireland Square

On January 24th and 25th, from 6pm to 10pm, Plaza Irlanda becomes one of the summer parks in Bueno Aires where you don’t need the sand to feel like you’re at the beach.

Plaza Irlanda also awaits you with outdoor music to go with friends or family, enjoy free shows and let the afternoon stretch into the night .

5. Rivadavia Park

On January 31st and February 1st, from 6pm to 10pm, Parque Rivadavia also joins the musical evenings that bring a change of pace to the rhythm of summer. Among trees, improvised lounge chairs and live sound, Parque Rivadavia becomes a plan to enjoy the summer with free live music.

6. Railway Park

On January 31st and February 1st, from 6pm until 10pm, Parque Ferroviario awaits you with live music, long sunsets and green surroundings that create the sensation of being far away from the noise of the city, even though you are still in Buenos Aires.

7. Park of the Americas

In Belgrano, in the Parque de las Américas you will be able to close the day with live music in the open air. The plan is simple and effective: go to the park, sit on the grass and let the summer do its thing while the sun goes down. You will find live music in this summer park in Buenos Aires on February 7 and 8, from 6pm to 10pm.

8. Saint Tropez Park

If there is a park that really makes you think you are at the beach, it is Saint Tropez Park, on Costanera Norte. This summer park by the river combines live music, gastronomic proposals and sunsets that look like something out of a postcard. From 5 pm to 9 pm, this is the ideal plan to close the day with friends, feel the breeze of the river and live a summer experience without leaving the city. Dates: January 24 and 25 and February 21 and 22.
