Who wants a beach when there are three summer parks full of activities in Buenos Aires? Ok, the beach is a big plus in the heat, but if you stay in Buenos Aires and want to enjoy it almost as if you were near the sea, here are all the activities you will find in Parque de la Ciudad, Parque de los Niños and Parque Costero during the summer. From January 10 to February 16, enjoy all the sports, cultural activities and water games of these parks in CABA.
1. City Park
This is one of the largest and most important summer parks. There are several activities to enjoy the summer at Parque de la Ciudad. Do not miss the products of the entrepreneurs’ fair and take the opportunity to eat at the tables in the shade and outdoors with all the gastronomic offer of the food trucks.
If you simply want to relax, the Parque de la Ciudad has a space with lounge chairs and umbrellas so you can feel like at the beach but without the sand between your feet.
If you are looking for something to do with children in summer, you will also find a space dedicated to children where there are always activities, workshops and free children’s shows.
In addition to a gastronomic space and a beach corner, if you are looking for sports activities, in the Parque de la Ciudad there is also an area dedicated to sports where you can have fun in a ball game, the kids can go to the inflatables, the adventure bridge, play soccer, enjoy go-karting, play table tennis, ping pong, and even entertain themselves with board games.

2. Parque de los Niños (Children’s Park)
Feeling like at the beach in downtown Buenos Aires is not a utopia because we have summer parks equipped with everything for January and February. You can spend the summer at Parque de los Niños and feel like at the beach in its beach area, where there are umbrellas and deck chairs.
Did you know that Parque de los Niños has two aquatic areas with games? That’s right, Parque de los Niños has two aquatic areas designed for children and adults, with interactive games and showers.
If you are looking for other activities, or more traditional games, there is also a bocce court and every day at 11 am, the Parque de los Niños offers Latin rhythm classes for all ages. And obviously, as you will want to spend the whole day here, the park also has a gastronomic fair and homemade products so you can eat and also buy something to take away.

3. Coastal Park
This is one of the newest summer parks in the city. The Parque Costero is just meters away from the Aeroparque, it is 3 hectares with beach and activities ideal to spend the summer in Buenos Aires and has its own sandy beach area in front of the river.
The first thing you have to discover if you don’t already know it is its sandy beach with direct access to the river, perfect for drinking mates and cycling.
In addition, the Coastal Park has a pier for fishermen, a viewpoint with panoramic views, ramps for skateboarders and plenty of green space for picnics, mates by the river and spend the day outdoors.

BA Sunset: watch the sunset as if you were at the beach.
In addition to the beach in the city, fairs and many activities, BA Sunset is part of the summer program in Buenos Aires: two parties where you can enjoy live music until sunset.
The first Sunset party by the river is this weekend, January 25 and 26. The second party is in mid-February. You will find DJ battles, food trucks, photo ops, decoration, chill spaces, sitting area and recreational space so you can play table football or even giant jenga.
