1. Fine Arts Museum of Buenos Aires
The Museum of Fine Arts of Buenos Aires thought of a series of activities for children this summer 2025 that are perfect for all ages. These activities are totally free:

📅 Saturdays and Sundays in January.
Discover with Lila, a puppet who accompanies the tour from her rolling library and typewriter, incredible stories that intertwine with the works of artists such as Pedro Figari, Víctor Magariños, Xul Solar and León Ferrari.

A space designed to bring art and the museum’s works to teenagers and think about the body and how we do not simaginate and perceive through art.

2. Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires
Malba always has a wide artistic program designed for children during the summer. Tours of its exhibitions with children’s interaction, guided tours that end in the creation of a work of art made by the children themselves, interactive workshops and a super interesting creation space.
The activities are usually free of charge and while the kids go around, play and learn, parents can discover one of the most interesting museums in Buenos Aires. There are always plenty of activities for this summer with children at the Malba.

3. Libertad Palace
February is the month when many of the cultural centers in Buenos Aires reopen after the summer vacation break. Palacio Libertad is back in February with a program for children of all ages, all free of charge.
In addition, adults can also enjoy a beautiful building where they can also enjoy and an incredible terrace from where they can see the city of Buenos Aires.
In the Espacio Azul of the Palacio Libertad you can recreate on paper the universe of the central character of the video game Azul the great concert, enjoy a library and build with giant blocks.
In the Cinema Room, short and feature films for the whole family are screened, selected in association with INCAA.
On weekends you can take the kids to enjoy micro concerts ¡A la Ronda! with Laura Migliorisi and Naranja Dulce.
In addition, there are rounds of games in the early childhood room, dedicated to the little ones so they can play, reinvent and sing.
And something very important if you want to spend a great summer with children in the city is to take advantage of all the immersive experiences proposed by the former CCK, in its exclusive room dedicated to these experiences for the whole family.

4. Usina del Arte
La Usina del Arte is one of the best places in CABA to enjoy summer vacations with children. They always have a wide variety of workshops for them, and for all ages, as well as special events on weekends, concerts designed for children and a space that is great to visit with the family.

5. Modern Museum (MOMA)
During January and February, the Museo Moderno will be transformed into an ideal summer camp for children and families: workshops, shows and accessible activities that connect the legacy of artistic heritage with the most innovative contemporary expressions, both local and international.
MOMA Buenos Aires’ initiative for this summer seeks to inspire new ways of thinking, creating, debating, sharing values, experiencing emotions, and building bonds and collective projects so that children and families can interact and enjoy the summer by creating.

6. Cultural Center of Science
The Centro Cultural de la Ciencia is a perfect world for curious children. It has summer activities for curious kids for every day of the week and others from Tuesday to Friday.
On Tuesdays you can build your own dinosaur, create a mechanical hand with recyclable materials, reproduce fossils based on molds as a paleontologist would do.
On Wednesdays you can create stories and tales with light, investigate light in a color laboratory or participate in a workshop to create your own dinosaurs.
On Thursdays, participate in a series of challenges while learning with incandescent bulbs, LEDs, wires, conductive dough, batteries, batteries, or conductive tape. If robots are your thing, don’t miss the workshop to learn essential concepts of programming, electronics and 3D printing.
Fridays is the day of creations. Come to the Science Cultural Center this summer to create animals and monstrous creatures or to build parachutes and helicopters and discover the science behind flight.
From Tuesday to Friday, enjoy Mundo Funda and learn all about the world of mushrooms, be entertained at the Biblioteca Encendida and discover the spaces to create and have fun with scientists’ own experiments. Check out the whole program, all activities are free of charge!
