
Buenos Aires has just announced the creation of a new Subway line: Line F. The new line F will connect the north and the south of the capital city, it will have a 9-kilometer extension, eleven stations and its inauguration is scheduled for 2031.
One of the objectives of the construction of the new subway line is the decongestion of Line C and the optimization of the connection between the different transportation networks that Buenos Aires already has. The route of the new line F will pass through the neighborhoods of Barracas, Constitución, San Cristóbal, Monserrat, San Nicolás, Recoleta and Palermo.

The construction plan contemplates two stages. In the first stage, six stations will be opened : Brandsen, Constitución, Cochabamba, Chile, Congreso and Tucumán. In a second stage, the route will be completed with the five remaining stations to complete the 11 total stations.
According to official data, the new line will allow you to connect with all the other subway lines, as well as with the Roca and San Martín railroads. At Constitución Station you will be able to connect with Line C; at Entre Ríos, with Line E; at Congreso, with Line A; at Corrientes, with Line B; at Callao, with Line D; and at Las Heras, with Line H.
TramBus: the new electric transportation in Buenos Aires
In addition to the announcement of the construction and route of the new subway line of the city,the TramBus was presented, an electric vehicle that will operate on the surface, not subway, similar to the Metrobus, but with more modern technology, accessible for people with disabilities and designed to reduce noise pollution.
Two TramBus lines will be created, which will operate transversally to the subway network to facilitate the connection between the head of the different lines.
