The general strike called by the CGT for April 10 is going to be massive and many unions and sectors adhere completely or partially. We tell you which services will be affected by the general strike on April 10, which transport services will work and the sectors that adhere to the strike.
Transportation: trains, subways, buses and flights.
👉 Trains and subways: the four railway unions and the subway subdelegates of the subte porteño confirmed their adhesion, which means the suspension of these services during the whole day of trains and subways.
Buses: the Unión Tranviarios Automotor (UTA) is facing a compulsory conciliation issued by the Government, which calls into question its participation. The impact of the measure depends to a great extent on its adhesion, but so far, it confirmed that it does not adhere and implies that buses will circulate on April 10 normally.
👉 F lights: the 12 aeronautical unions confirmed that they are joining the strike, which could affect take-offs and landings. However, air traffic controllers, considered an essential service, will have to operate at least 45% of their capacity. In conclusion, flights on April 10 will be affected, but the general strike does not mean that there will be no flights at all. It will depend on each airline.
