Adolfo, a renowned storyteller, begins to write his first novel and asks his daughter Dalia to create a character for the story. She chooses a goat, inspired by her stuffed animal. Filmmaker Georgina Barreiro presents a selection of animated works and talks with the public about the creative process: the origin of the characters, the scenarios and the ideas behind each story.
At the end, a playful activity is proposed: imagining new adventures for one of the characters, creating original scenarios and actions.
During the winter vacations, the National Library offers an open library for children and young people with the theme “Enchanted Forest”, available in the Reference Room on the 6th floor. Guided tours: Monday to Friday, at noon and 2 pm.
