Mañana Patria: The Perfect Start with Hot Chocolate and Churros
The celebration kicks off early in the courtyard of the Casa de la Cultura. From 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., you’ll be able to tour the former La Prensa building and enjoy its restored halls on a free guided tour—so you can add this Buenos Aires landmark to your list of favorite places.
Also at 9:00 a.m., the first traditional music and dance performance begins, followed by a series of free events to show you exactly how to celebrate this July 9.
At 5:00 p.m., it’s time for a folklore concert by the Manuel de Falla Conservatory’s Folklore Orchestra, which will perform the great classics from our popular songbook.
At 7:00 p.m., it’s time for Vientos Andinos and Canto con Caja, also presented by the Manuel de Falla Conservatory, which is offering a workshop for anyone who wants to join in. And no such event would be complete without hot chocolate and churros.
