A special edition of Cocina Abierta is coming—the food fair held on the esplanade of the Palacio Libertad in Puerto Madero. Each edition brings you the flavors of Argentina’s provinces and unique local specialties. At this July 9th edition, you’ll discover the traditional dishes that are just what you need for the cold July weather.
You’ll be able to browse stands filled with traditional products: artisanal cheeses, cured meats, regional sweets, alfajores, and, of course, the must-have hot classics to ward off the July chill.
In addition to dining, you can joinlive cooking classes led by expert chefs who’ll share techniques, family secrets, and traditional recipes so you can learn to recreate these delicious national dishes at home.
Free food, dance, and shows for July 9
And like any celebration, music and traditional dances are a must : A national holiday isn’t complete without a peña. Throughout the afternoon, the plaza will come alive with rhythm, featuring live music performances and traditional dance shows from different corners of the country.
