There will be three exclusive rides between Perú and Acoyte stations, each lasting 40 minutes. During this subway ride, a guide will immerse you in the history of these cars and the early days of the subway in Buenos Aires.
On May 10, right after the end of the subway service, you will be able to ride the beautiful old cars of the Buenos Aires subway line A at three different times. There are three routes between the night of May 10 and the early morning of May 11, at 00.15 am, then 00.55 am and the last one at 1:35 am.
Did you know that these cars of Line A, now designated as Cultural Heritage of the City of Buenos Aires, defied time for almost a century on Line A, the first subway line in Latin America. Inaugurated on December 1, 1913, it connected Plaza de Mayo with Plaza 11 de Septiembre (today’s Plaza Miserere or Once).
How can you participate in these subway rides for the Night of the Museums?
To participate in this unique experience and take a ride on the old cars of the A line of the Buenos Aires subway, you have to fill in this form. The deadline to do so is May 5 until 2 pm.
