Studio Ghibli, the world’s most renowned Japanese animated film production company, arrives for the first time to the big screen in Argentina with an unmissable film series with its restored classics. Starting August 7, theaters in Buenos Aires and other theaters in Argentina will start showing some of the most influential works by Hayao Miyazaki and other great directors of Studio Ghibli, such as Isao Takahata and Gorô Miyazaki. If you are fascinated by Studio Ghibli films, from August you will have the opportunity to see them all on the big screen in theaters in Buenos Aires. Many of the films shown have never been in theaters before.
The initiative is in charge of the distributor BF Distribution and the theaters in Buenos Aires where the Studio Ghibli films will be shown have not yet been determined, but they will surely be announced in the next few days.

👉 August 7: Spirited Away (2001)
👉 August 28: The Hill of Poppies (Gorô Miyazaki), The Tale of Princess Kaguya, Memories of Yesterday and Pompoko, all by Isao Takahata, are released.
👉 October 16: Princess Mononoke
👉November 6: You’re going to be able to watch The Wind Rises (Miyazaki), My Neighbors the Yamadas (Takahata) and The Return of the Cat (Hiroyuki Morita).
👉6 December: The season ends with Kiki: Home Delivery.
