Buenos Aires plans to launch a new shopping mall concept in the heart of Puerto Madero. Madero Harbour is a very exclusive area within Puerto Madero, and announces for 2025 the beginning of the construction of an open-air shopping mall with a gastronomic center and international brands. Madero Harbour has a surface area of more than 22,000 m², 120 commercial premises and is located on Juana Manso Street. Madero Harbour Shopping is planned within this section. The new shopping mall is expected to be ready in 30 months.
What brands will the Puerto Madero shopping mall have?
Madero Harbour Shopping will have three basements, two main levels and a green terrace that connects with the residential and office towers that are already built. Unlike traditional shopping malls, this shopping mall in Puerto Madero is designed more as an open-air urban promenade, where you can also enjoy the greenery and everything a shopping mall has to offer but in the open air.
Currently, there are many brands already operating in the shopping mall area. You probably know Osten Restaurant, Le Pain Quotidien, the ephemeral club 100 Buenos Aires, and restaurants such as Norimōto or Masunori.
The novelty is that when this new Puerto Madero shopping mall is fully operational, it is expected to add international brands, some of them luxury, such as Chanel, Carolina Herrera, Fendi, Salvatore Ferragamo or Ralph Lauren. In addition, some of the best-known clothing and design brands will be added: Zara, H&M and even Ikea.
In addition to the shopping center, Madero Harbour already has luxury residences, World Trade Center office towers and rooftops with infinity pools. The completion date is tentative, but it is expected that by the end of 2026 the new Puerto Madero shopping center will be a reality.
