If there’s one artist who has managed to become the soundtrack for several generations of Argentines, it’s Charly García. From the acoustic folk of Sui Generis, through the rock of Serú Girán, to his solo career, his songs are part of Argentina’s cultural heritage—and this October weekend, his body of work will be honored in a tribute worthy of his legacy.

The Palacio Libertad (formerly CCK) presents “Esenciales: Charly Sinfónico Coral, ” a production that brings together more than a hundred artists on the stage of the Auditorio Nacional to reinterpret the work of Charly García.
