An Immersive exhibition of Monet comes to the basement of the Colon Theater: impressionism and gardens of light from December 15 in Buenos Aires.
The Monet Immersive exhibition proposes a tour that takes you directly to the heart of Impressionism. Through large-format projections, immersive audio and state-of-the-art technology, you will enter some of Monet’s most recognizable landscapes: water lily ponds, gardens brimming with light, reflections on water and marine scenes that seem to move to the rhythm of color.
This new summer exhibition in Buenos Aires combines elements inspired by Monet’s paintings, perfect for taking incredible photos, putting on virtual reality headsets and touring replicas of key works and interactive stations where Monet’s creative processes are explained.
Immerse yourself in Monet’s impressionism and light at a new immersive exhibition in Buenos Aires.
Claude Monet was not only one of the founders of Impressionism. He spent hours observing how colors changed depending on the time of day, which led him to paint the same scene in different weather conditions to capture minute variations in light. His obsession with gardens led him to design and cultivate his own paradise in Giverny, where he built ponds, bridges and a natural environment that he later immortalized in his famous series of water lilies. That obsession with light and color is what you’re going to discover in the new immersive summer exhibition.

In addition to walking through the works as if you were inside them or seeing them around you, you will also find drawing tables and 180° projection rooms, where the images break out of the traditional frames and become an environment that completely envelops you.
Enjoy the Colón Immersive Theater in the summer: concerts and interactive exhibits
Monet Inmersivo offers a new way to approach impressionism because the walls, floor and every surface of the CETC (the Experimentation Center of the Teatro Colón) are transformed into a living canvas where colors breathe and change before your eyes. This immersive proposal at the Teatro Collón has already toured countries such as Brazil, Chile, Germany, Italy, England and Portugal, and from December 15 it will be unloaded at the Teatro Colón.
This summer, in addition to concerts and an architecture that always invites you to visit it, the Teatro Colón will be transformed with Monet Immersivo. You will be able to visit the exhibition every day from 10 am to 8 pm, with tickets available at the Ticketek website and at the theater’s box office. People with CUD have free admission.
