The Kartódromo de Buenos Aires is an urban circuit of 900 meters, located in the neighborhood of Villa Riachuelo and offers you the possibility of renting professional karts and access to a homologated track, with all the safety measures. The system is simple: you book an appointment online or by phone, you arrive at the kart track, and after a brief instruction you get on the kart. You don’t need to bring your own equipment or previous experience. Helmet, gloves, suit and medical coverage are included in the rental price.

The karts reach up to 120 km/h on a circuit. If you are tempted by the idea of driving a kart, there are options both for beginners and for those who already have some experience. There are also karts adapted for children from 10 years old.
How does the drivers’ school at the Buenos Aires Kartódromo work?
The Drivers’ School is designed for people between 6 and 60 years of age who want to get started in motor racing. The training is divided into two stages: the first one with 4-stroke karts for beginners, and a second more advanced part with Rotax 125 cc engines.
If you want to learn to drive a kart like a professional, you should know that the Pilot School training combines theory, physical preparation, track training, driving simulators and basic notions of mechanics.
Each class lasts two and a half hours and includes professional supervision with instructors, flaggers and technical support. At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate that allows you to obtain a sports license from the Automóvil Club Argentino (Argentine Automobile Club).
How much does it cost to drive a kart at the Buenos Aires Kartódromo?
The most common modality is the “right to track” which costs 50,000 pesos per karting and includes the use of the kart, the complete equipment, the instruction, and a driving shift. You can go alone, as a couple or with friends: it is also possible to close shifts for groups or companies. The slots are available from Thursday to Sunday, and are usually sold out in advance. Therefore, you should book in advance through the website of the Argentine Karting Club.
