The karts reach speeds of up to 120 km/h on the track. If you’re tempted by the idea of driving a kart, there are options for both beginners and those with some experience. There are also karts adapted for kids ages 10 and up.
How the Buenos Aires Karting Circuit’s racing school works
The Racing School is designed for people ages 6 to 60 who want to get started in motorsports. The training is divided into two stages: the first uses 4-stroke karts for beginners, and the second, more advanced stage features 125 cc Rotax engines.
If you want to learn how to drive a kart like a pro, you should know that the Driver School’s training program combines theory, physical conditioning, track training, driving simulators, and basic mechanics.
Each class lasts two and a half hours and includes professional supervision by instructors, flag marshals, and technical support. At the end of the course, you’ll receive a certificate that allows you to apply for a sports license from the Automóvil Club Argentino.
How much does it cost to drive a kart at the Buenos Aires Karting Track?
The most common option is the “track access” package, which costs 45,000 pesos per karting session and includes use of the kart, full gear, instruction, and a driving session.
