How many streets in Buenos Aires make you think of Paris? Quite a few, surely, but just strolling down them might not be enough. That’s why it’s fantastic that one of Buenos Aires’ most beautiful Parisian arcades is hosting an open house where you can explore it, discover it, and wander among its shops while enjoying music and culinary delights. This September 24, your date with Paris in Buenos Aires is at the very same arcade where the Netflix series *Envidiosa* was filmed. Do you know which one it is?
Pasaje Rivarola: An open-air filming set to explore in September
Pasaje Dr. Rodolfo Rivarola is in the heart of the San Nicolás neighborhood, and on September 24, it’s getting ready to open its doors to you for a day so you can discover its hidden corners, its shops, and its Parisian charm. “Hola Rivarola” is a day to stroll through this photogenic passageway amid art exhibitions, music, and culinary delights.

If you’ve watched the Netflix series *Envidiosa*, this passage will surely look familiar to you because it was the setting chosen to film several scenes from the series. And it’s no coincidence: its European architecture makes it a natural set that captivates anyone who walks through it. In fact, if you’re walking down Bartolomé Mitre Street near Talcahuano, it’s impossible not to turn your head to look at it as you pass by.
A one-day festival set against a backdrop of mirrored architecture

Pasaje Rivarola is known as the only “mirror architecture” passageway in Buenos Aires. Construction began in 1924 and was completed in 1926, and the project was carried out by the same company behind iconic Buenos Aires landmarks such as the Obelisk, the Central Post Office, and La Bombonera.
Every block is identical to the next: it has eight buildings with a ground floor and five stories, topped by domes, and they’re all exactly the same. And if you look up at number 134, you can still see the analog clock with Roman numerals hanging there—a remnant of what used to be “Casa Raab,” a shop for antique dealers and collectors.
What you’ll be able to do at this one-day festival in Pasaje Rivarola
For an entire afternoon, the passage’s shops will come together for an open house where you’ll be able to take tours and guided visits, discover design pieces, art exhibitions, and delicious cuisine. If you don’t have plans in Buenos Aires, this might be the perfect excuse to explore this secret corner of the city.
