This Halloween, the National Railway Museum of Buenos Aires turns into an enchanting scene of terror for three nights: get on the ghost train and celebrate Halloween with spooky characters, music, themed make-up, gastronomic patio and many surprises.
A Ghost Train arrives in Retiro for Halloween: Tarot, horror movies, gastronomic patio and create your own amulet.
From October 31 to November 2, the Railway Museum opens its doors so you can dress up and celebrate Halloween in Buenos Aires. On Thursday, October 31, Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2, you will be able to go through the museum’s historic carriages while crossing paths with apparitions, witches and ghosts that seem to have traveled from other times and a gastronomic patio because even zombies get hungry.
The Ghost Train of the Railway Museum awaits you with much more than a thematic ride: enter a building that breathes history with more than a century and a half of memories, steam locomotives, station clocks, telegraphs and original uniforms that becomes the perfect space to live or last night among cobwebs, witches and ghosts that travel through space. And you can dress up as the most terrifying character you want!
A Halloween night on a ghost train: tarot, cinema, music and create your own amulet!
The tour is completed with gastronomic stands and a fair of entrepreneurs while a live DJ puts rhythm to the night, between dark mixes and scary melodies.
For the more curious, you will also find tarot card readings, horror movie screenings, workshops to create amulets and spaces for themed makeup. Iconic scenes from horror movies will also be recreated so that you can take pictures among the cars and go home with unique memories. Remember that you can come in costume, regardless of your age.
Did you know that the Railway Museum has the presidential car that transported Pope John Paul II in 1982, original machinery from the 19th century? Will spirits from the past also appear this Halloween night?
Don’t miss a totally different Halloween night in Buenos Aires on a Ghost Train. The entrance to this Halloween celebration is general admission to the museum. It has a value of 2500 pesos (children under 6 years old do not pay) and is purchased directly at the museum box office, the same day of the event.
