This November 8th, Buenos Aires is getting ready to experience a new edition of La Noche de los Museos. From 7 pm to 2 am, more than 300 cultural spaces and museums will open their doors with free admission. And the best news: all public transportation is free. Free transport during La Noche de los Museos: where to get the free pass to move around Buenos Aires
To travel for free during La Noche de los Museos, you just need to download the special pass in PDF format from the official website of La Noche de los Museos when it is available, probably days before the event. You have to save it in your cell phone or print it, and show it when you get on any bus within the City of Buenos Aires. The Night of the Museums free pass is available from 6 p.m. on Saturday, November 8 until 3 a.m. on Sunday.
The pass works on all bus lines that circulate in the City. In addition, the eBus has a special route every 15 minutes, connecting the main museums and reaching the Usina del Arte, one of the epicenters of this edition.
Important:download the free pass in advance and check your route before leaving. The website also allows you to check the nearest museums according to your location.
If you prefer to pedal, the Ecobici system offers a free pass, available between 7 pm and 3 am. With this pass you will be able to make up to four trips of 45 minutes each, a perfect option to enjoy the night outdoors, without worrying about traffic.
Free subway without a pass
The subway is also free during the Night of the Museums, and you don’t need to show your PDF pass. Lines A, C, E, H and the Premetro run from 6 pm until closing time. Lines B and D extend their schedule until 2 am.
