This is the Rooftop Bar in Buenos Aires that opened in a former parking lot in Palermo with views of the Rosedal and a hidden VIP area.
An outdoor bar in a parking lot? When it comes to finding unique spaces for new projects, Somma is definitely one of them because it’s one of the new bars with terraces in Buenos Aires.
It is located at the top of the new OLA Palermo complex (a co-working complex with restaurants and now also a rooftop bar).
Somma is located in what was a parking lot for decades. The old parking lot was recycled while respecting its original structure, something you will notice as soon as you arrive. Curves, ramps, undulating shapes, and open lines coexist with the modern design of a huge bar with an excellent atmosphere and lots of greenery. From the terrace, the views of Buenos Aires are spectacular: the Hippodrome, the Polo Field, and the Rosedal seem within reach.
This new rooftop bar is so close to the Rosedal and the Hippodrome, in one of the greenest areas of Buenos Aires, that it almost seems like a natural extension of these parks.
Although the rooftop is the star attraction, the interior lounge hides a few secrets: hidden bubble spaces, a sushi bar, and a VIP area hidden behind a door that goes completely unnoticed.
If you go to Somma, you’ll find that the menu combines classic dishes, meats, and pasta, but one of the highlights is the signature sushi.
There can’t be a good bar with a terrace that invites you to spend your evenings outdoors without good music. That’s why there’s a live DJ every night , and on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, the space is transformed: the dance floor opens and the night ends with dancing.
If you’re looking for a different way to enjoy summer nights in Buenos Aires, this rooftop in Palermo has it all: stunning architecture, unique views, good food, and music.
