An open-air museum takes over Boedo every month: The classic car fair where you can see a Chevy and other iconic cars over the weekend
Every last Sunday of the month, Boedo hosts a classic car expo between Boedo and San Juan avenues—a must-see event for all car enthusiasts. It’s an open-air gathering where you can get up close to vintage cars, restored models, and true gems of Argentine motoring.
Where to see classic cars outdoors in Buenos Aires: a tour of classic and collectible cars
This May, the event takes place on May 31 starting at 1 p.m. The expo brings together a wide variety of vehicles, but there’s one presence that steals the show:
Chevrolet. Among the most notable models are icons like the Chevy and the Impala, as well as collector’s cars belonging to clubs and owners who are passionate about these models. Every car has its own story, and many of the owners are there to tell it.
This exhibition of iconic cars, now a Buenos Aires classic, is set up right on the street and is the perfect way to stroll around at your own pace, take photos, and enjoy a nice day in the sun.
Plus, it’s a free event, making it an excellent option to add to your weekend plans.
