Just half an hour from CABA, there is a sports center that has a wave pool. That’s right: 30 minutes from Buenos Aires, you can enjoy a pool with waves, crystal clear water, palm trees, and even sand without spending a fortune.
A wave pool with sand and palm trees that makes you feel like you’re in the Caribbean, just 30 minutes from Buenos Aires
This wave pool, with sand and surrounded by palm trees, feels like being in the Caribbean but very close to the city of Buenos Aires. It is located at the DAM Sports Center, a space that recently opened its wave pool in Moreno.
The bottom of the pool imitates sand, the water is completely transparent, and the surroundings are designed to create a feeling of an artificial beach that, at times, makes you forget that you are in the Buenos Aires suburbs. The experience is completed with lifeguards and changing rooms at all the pools.
In addition to the wave pool, the complex has a swimming pool that is up to four meters deep and another specially designed for children, less than eighty centimeters deep, ideal for the little ones. Everything is organized so that adults and children can enjoy the water safely in a family plan to spend the day at the pool.
But the DAM Sports Center is not just about pools. The place is huge and offers multiple options for spending the whole day. There are playgrounds for children, tables and benches under the shade of trees, hockey, soccer, and volleyball fields, a bike path to explore the grounds, and even a micro-stadium.
For food, you can choose from the food trucks that operate within the grounds or use the grills available to cook whatever you bring with you.
How much does it cost to spend the day at a pool complex with waves, sand, and palm trees in Buenos Aires?
