If you’ve ever seen a huge group of roller skaters passing by on an avenue in Buenos Aires and thought, “They’re having so much fun —how can I join in?” Now’s your chance to find out. You’ve probably run into the folks from @saletitanic, a community that takes over the streets of Buenos Aires with their roller skates every week. The best part: they also throw a party where you can dance while skating round and round.
We’ll tell you how to join their groups to go rollerblading ( no matter your skill level) and when the Roller Disco Party—the skaters’ party in Buenos Aires—is happening.
Skating through Buenos Aires at night: weekly group outings for rollerblading in CABA
In addition to special events, the Saletitanic community ( Instagram @saletitanic) organizes free, self-organized tours every week to explore the most special spots in Buenos Aires under the stars. Imagine rollerblading at night through the Rosedal, the Law School, or the Planetarium!
To join in on the rollerblading in Buenos Aires, the great thing is that you don’t need to be a perfect rollerblader or an expert—there are outings designed for all skill levels. Here are the days and times:
- Beginners’ Tuesdays / Social Rollers (8:30 p.m.): If you’re just starting out or looking for a relaxed pace. It’s about 10 km, with the meeting spot alternating between the Rosedal de Palermo and Puerto Madero (announced weekly on their social media), including a stop at the local skate park.
- Intermediate/Advanced Mondays (8:20 p.m. meet-up / 8:30 p.m. start): For skaters with previous experience and a dynamic pace. The regular meeting spot is the Palmeras del Rosedal. The route passes by the Urquiza Monument, the Galileo Galilei Planetarium, Carrasco Park, the Fishermen’s Club, Aeroparque, North Coastal Park, the Saint Tropez Skatepark, the Alcorta Pedestrian Bridge, and the Regatta Lake.
- One Saturday a month (8:30 p.m.): A special night out with different routes through Buenos Aires.
The Roller Party: a nighttime disco party amid lights and roller skates
For those who’ve always dreamed of a retro-style dance floor on wheels, the event already has a date and location. This Friday, September 25, the INK nightclub in Palermo (Av. Niceto Vega 5635) will transform into a Roller Disco from 8:00 p.m. to midnight . Break out your roller skates, polish them up, and get ready to dance while skating—or skate while dancing.
At this spring edition of the roller party, you’ll get to show off your roller skates on the rink, complete with disco lights, dance music sets, raffles, and surprises.
Tickets are on sale with limited availability via the link in their Instagram bio (@saletitanic).
Science confirms it: rollerblading can turn your day around
Beyond the exercise, going out to skate or rollerblade in a group releases endorphins, reduces stress, and boosts your self-confidence. Not to mention that you also meet new people, make friends, have fun, and get out of the house. Need more reasons?

The only requirement to join is a desire to have fun (and, for intermediate-level outings, knowing how to skate and brake with ease). We recommend wearing a helmet and protective gear (wrist guards, elbow pads, and knee pads), as well as signing up in advance using the form on their Instagram profile.
📍 Roller Party Location: INK — Av. Niceto Vega 5635, Palermo.
📅 Date: Friday, September 25.
⏰ Time: 8:00 p.m. to midnight.
🎟️ Tickets: Available on the @saletitanic Instagram profile.
