There’s something about the way she sings that hooks you to the touch. It’s her voice, warm, intimate, with that rough edge that is so much her. Her songs, halfway between pop and acoustic, that find in the guitar and the minimalist staging the best way to reach the public, without the need for superproductions. Therefore, when you add to this proposal the faint glow of candles, the result is an unforgettable musical experience. Just what brings to Buenos Aires the new edition of Candlelight Original Sessions and its special concert by Zoe Gotusso on August 9 and 23 at the Margarita Xirgu Theater.
A new way to see (and hear) Zoe Gotusso
Zoe Gotusso began her career in 2016 as part of the duo Salvapantallas and, in 2020, she took the leap as a soloist with Mi Primer Día Triste, a debut album that earned her a Gardel Award and ended up positioning her in the local scene. Since then, she did not stop: she took her music all over Latin America with more than 70 concerts, opened for great artists such as Fito Páez and Paul McCartney, and even accompanied Coldplay at the River Stadium.
An outstanding career that continues to be written and that now will be joined by her incredible performance with Candlelight, where the artist from Córdoba will perform some of her hits: from Desnuda, Ganas and María, to Cuarto creciente and Pensando en ti.
The event will take place at the Margarita Xirgu Theater, an iconic venue in the San Telmo neighborhood with more than a century of history linked to the cultural life of Buenos Aires. It is part of the Casal de Catalunya de Buenos Aires and preserves the elegance of the Catalan neo-Gothic style, with a stage that has seen great names such as Serrat, Les Luthiers and Nacha Guevara.
Candlelight returns to Buenos Aires with a new concert of its special edition Original Sessions, this time with Zoe Gotusso. A 65-minute experience that not only allows you to rediscover live music, but also to see your favorite artist in a new light. An intimate plan, different and designed for those who know that there are concerts that are really worth living.
