Just an hour from Buenos Aires, Uribelarrea becomes the setting for a unique experience, where wine is the common thread, as from April 17 to 19 it celebrates Malbec Day with a series of experiences designed to let you lose yourself in its streets and hidden spots.
Uribelarrea celebrates Malbec Day all weekend long: the activities
April 17 is World Malbec Day, and in Uribelarrea, for three days, various dining spots in town will offer their own special events where Malbec takes center stage, ranging from intimate tastings to relaxed experiences where you can enjoy wine tastings and excellent cuisine.
The weekend kicks off on the evening of Friday , April 17 , with an event combining dinner, wine, and lodging in a country house. But the real fun begins on Saturday, when the entire town comes alive.
From a goat farm offering goat cheese tastings paired with Malbec, to intimate talks by sommeliers, to more informal experiences where wine is discovered through stories, snacks, and flavors—far from the traditional tasting.
On Sunday, April 19, the festivities continue with relaxed lunches and more tastings. Plus, some accommodations are offering special deals so you can stay for the entire weekend.
Uribelarrea becomes a festival setting where every corner offers something different, and it’s just an hour from Buenos Aires.
