From August 31 to September 6, Buenos Aires celebrates the ninth edition of the Llegás Festival, a week-long event where you’ll be able to see more than 50 plays, dance performances, and other performances with a 50% discount on tickets.
More than 500 artists are participating in a diverse program taking place at 10 venues and spaces across Buenos Aires. Here’s how to buy your tickets.
Which plays can you see for half price?

The ninth edition of the festival combines plays from Buenos Aires’ theater scene—already established hits on Corrientes Avenue—with productions from the independent circuit and experimental works.
Among the plays you’ll be able to see at half price are:
- *Modelo vivo muerto* (at the Teatro Metropolitan), the musical *Forever Young*, and *Parlamento* (both at the Teatro Picadero).
- Plays such as *Civilización*, *Minima Moralia*, *Alfa*, and *SIMULACRO I*, along with productions at iconic theaters like El Portón de Sánchez and DUMONT4040.
- One of this year’s major highlights is the lineup of events in unusual venues, such as “Shakespeare in the Cemetery” (at the British Cemetery) or intimate performances at cultural centers like Casa Biarritz.
