From May 16 to 18, 11 museums in Buenos Aires will open their doors with free activities, special tours, and interactive experiences. Among them is the Galileo Galilei Planetarium in Palermo. For three days, you can visit it during the three guided tours offered daily.
What you can do for free at the Planetarium this weekend
To celebrate International Museum Day, the Galileo Galilei Planetarium is offering special guided tours of the museum and the astronomical plaza—an ideal experience if you’re fascinated by space and perfect for kids.
During the free tours of the Planetarium, you’ll be able to see incredible things like authentic meteorites, interactive exhibits, representations of the sky and the movements of the universe, and spaces dedicated to astronomical exploration and science.
The free guided tours of the Planetarium for Museum Day are offered at three times: 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m.
