Brutto is an exhibition showcasing Indio Solari as a visual artist, and in addition to honoring his legacy as a musician, it offers a great opportunity to discover another facet of his artistry. BRUTTO has traveled through several cities, and will bid a final farewell this Sunday, June 7 —don’t miss it.
The final stop for this part of his art is the Metropolitan Museum of Urban Art (MMAU) in Córdoba. After a resounding success at the MAR Museum in Mar del Plata, the Teatro Argentino in La Plata, and Arthaus in Buenos Aires, the exhibition arrived in Córdoba and comes to an end on June 7. You have until Sunday to visit it with free admission.
Two immersive basement levels to step into the mind of El Indio
If you thought Indio Solari was just about music, this exhibition is a revelation. BRUTTO brings together fourteen works of digital art, arranged in an immersive journey:
- First Basement (Art and Photography): Here you’ll find Indio’s digital works in a selection of 42 photographs by Edgardo Andrés Kevorkian (KVK). These images document backstage moments and the stages.
- Second Basement (Sound Experience): On this level, the band’s concert at the Huracán Stadium (2022) is screened continuously, set within an audio environment designed exclusively by El Indio to accompany the tour.
Leave your own mark on the exhibition
Throughout the tour of the MMAU, you’ll find interactive panels where you can leave your own drawings, phrases, messages, and dedications. Although Indio Solari passed away on June 5, this is an opportunity to leave your mark alongside one of Argentina’s most iconic musicians and pay tribute to his legacy.
