The 2026 winter break has already begun in Buenos Aires, and Tecnópolis is reopening its doors with a wide variety of free activities—available by advance reservation —from Monday , July 20, through Sunday, August 2. If you don’t want to miss a thing, check out the activities planned for this break at Tecnópolis and book your admission online.
The massive complex in Villa Martelli reopens its doors with a winter break program that combines daily shows, children’s movies, recreational areas, and dining options.
Unlike previous years, Tecnópolis is open every day of the week so that no one is left out.
The schedule of free shows on the Mobile Stage
Every day at Tecnópolis, you’ll find three main artistic events at 1:30 p.m ., 2:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m., including concerts, theater, and unique experiences to enjoy as a family. Take note—here’s what’s on the schedule:
- Los Cazurros, Desenchufados, and AguaFiestas: They’ll be performing on different dates throughout the two weeks.
- Colectivo Galaxias: Featuring theatrical adaptations of Little Red Riding Hood and a beautiful tribute to María Elena Walsh.
- Compañía del Revés: Presenting the play *Dulcinea*.
- The musical highlight: On Sunday, July 26, there’s a special day filled with rhythm featuring the great “Chamameceada: Here We Dance the Chamamé.”
Areas and regular activities open every day

In addition to musical and theatrical performances, Tecnópolis is offering these 2026 entertainment areas that are perfect for exploring at your own pace:
Don’t miss Tierra de Dinos, the classic and unmissable outdoor attraction where giant animatronic dinosaurs come to life, or the Mega Inflatable Park, an impressive space designed especially for kids to jump, run, and have fun in a safe and recreational environment.
Meanwhile, the Sala Azul is transformed into a kids’ movie theater with daily screenings of major Argentine animated films such as *Robotia* and *Gigantes*. Adding to the fun are the Chess and Sports stations, featuring everything from areas for simultaneous chess games to basketball courts and foosball challenges.
While the main exhibits and activities are completely free, in 2026 there are some paid activities, such as the musical show *Margarita* at the Microestadio, a go-kart track at the Predio Ferial, and the Circo Houdini show in the central plaza.
Remember that this year, to access Tecnópolis and its free activities, you must book online.
Hydration and food stations: Can you bring your own mate?
Yes! You can bring your own food, packed lunches, and a full set of mate-drinking gear into Tecnópolis. The park has free hot water stations to refill your thermoses, Wi-Fi zones, and baby changing stations. If you’d rather buy food there, you’ll find food trucks from the Gustar Gastronomic Fair offering regional dishes from all over the country.
