This Sunday, June 28, 2026, at 8:00 p.m., you’ll be able to watch “The Phantom of the Opera,” the 1925 classic, with a live musical accompaniment performed in real time by more than a hundred musicians on stage. Best of all? Admission is free.

Before the advent of sound films, movies were screened with musicians playing live in the theater, which is why this free concert at the Palacio Libertad is like reliving the early days of cinema—but with the best acoustics and technology—because the Libertador San Martín National Youth Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Santiago Chotsourian, will be providing the live musical accompaniment for this silent film.
Add to that the fact that at the back of the stage stands the Klais Opus 1912 organ (the Auditorium’s gigantic pipe organ), which will be played live to create a dark, immersive, Gothic atmosphere—it’s an incredible plan for Sunday night.

- Online reservations open on Friday, June 26, at 2:00 p.m.via the Palacio Libertad’s official website.
- You can request up to 2 tickets per person.
- If you manage to reserve tickets, on the Sunday of the event you must go to the Palacio’s box office (ground floor) starting at 2:00 p.m. and up until the show’s start time to pick up your physical tickets.
2. Remaining In-Person Seats (Same Day)
- If you missed out or weren’t able to secure a virtual spot, on Sunday, June 28, starting at 2:00 p.m., remaining physical tickets will be distributed directly at the venue’s box office, on a first-come, first-served basis, until the venue reaches capacity.
