If you’re one of those people who love the aroma of smoke, meat that falls off the bone, and true outdoor feasts, we’re excited to announce that on Saturday, August 8, and Sunday, August 9, “SMOKED, Smoked Meats Festival” is coming to La Rural—a culinary festival dedicated to burgers, pastrami, and smoked meats of all sizes and varieties. It runs all weekend from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and admission is free.
Texas-style brisket, BBQ ribs, and more: what to eat at the Smoked Meats Festival this weekend
The Smoked Meats Festival brings together Argentina’s leading experts in fire-cooked cuisine and smoking techniques, all in one place. Among the must-try dishes you’ll be able to sample from the grills and smokers are meats and specialties such as Texas-style brisket, ribs smothered in BBQ sauce, pulled pork, homemade pastrami, bondiolas, chorizos, and artisanal sausages.
The smoked versions of the classics will be in abundance: smash burgers, Tex-Mex tacos with brisket or pork, gourmet hot dogs, and flavor-packed sandwiches, as well as smoked salmon and trout, mac & cheese, loaded potatoes, coleslaw, pickles, cornbread, chili, and onion rings.
Need something sweet to wash it all down? There’s also cheesecake, brownies, apple pie, cookies, freshly baked donuts, and banana pudding.
A market with local products, drink bars, and a pet- , pet-friendly atmosphere
The festival isn’t just about enjoying delicious food on the spot. You’ll also get to explore a food market packed with cheeses, cured meats, preserves, spices, sauces, and even smoked herbal teas.
The festival also features signature cocktail bars, bourbon & whiskey stations, gin and tonics, and ice-cold craft beers—all in a 100% pet-friendly outdoor setting.
