What GAP, Banana Republic, and Old Navy clothing will you find at Carrefour
In late 2025, Coto surprised shoppers by adding H&M products to its stores, and now it’s Carrefour’s turn—because at Carrefour hypermarkets, you’ll find clothing from GAP, Banana Republic, and Old Navy. You no longer need to go to outlet malls to shop for new clothes; you can do it while you’re doing your weekly grocery shopping.
The clothing items you’ll find include classic basics like sweatshirts, T-shirts, cotton jackets, and jeans, all at very attractive prices
To give you an idea, the classic GAP hoodie goes for around $47,000, while T-shirts are around $34,000.
GAP and the phenomenon of brands arriving without their own stores
GAP is one of the largest clothing brands in the United States and includes brands such as Old Navy and Banana Republic, among others. For years, it was one of the most sought-after brands by Argentines in destinations like Miami or Chile, where it does have an official presence.
Now, although it doesn’t yet have its own stores in the country, it’s beginning to appear in new retail formats, such as supermarkets, marking a shift in how these brands reach the local market.
Armani Exchange is scheduled to open at the Unicenter mall in August , and in September , the first Mango store in Argentina will open, featuring a large-scale space that marks the Spanish brand’s return to the local market.
