Buenos Aires is gearing up for a season dedicated to running with three races. Between April and May, the city will host events that combine sports, community, and unique experiences, ranging from urban circuits to routes through iconic landmarks.
European Union BSAS RUN: The Race Celebrating Its 10th Anniversary
On May 10, the Palermo Woods will once again become the epicenter of running with the European Union BSAS RUN 2026 – Golden Edition, which celebrates its 10th anniversary.
Under the slogan “We run together. We all win,” the race not only draws thousands of participants but also serves a charitable purpose to benefit the Pupi Foundation.
The experience includes a closed-off park with food options, activities, and spaces to enjoy with the family. Additionally, it offers distances for all levels: 3K, 7K, and 15K, with the start at Av. Alcorta and Dorrego at 8 a.m.
One of the major attractions is the 15K course, which allows runners to race inside the Autódromo de Buenos Aires, a technical and fast route ideal for improving personal bests.
FILA Race: Running in Palermo on a certified course
Another standout event is the FILA Race, featuring 10K and 21K distances in the Palermo area, organized by the Runners’ Club.
The course winds through the Palermo Woods and key avenues in the area, starting at Figueroa Alcorta and Dorrego in the early hours of the day.
One of its strengths is that the 10K course is certified by World Athletics, making it an ideal race for both competitive runners and those looking to improve their personal best in a professional setting.
In addition, all participants receive a complete kit with an official T-shirt, medal, timing chip, hydration, and medical assistance.
MaraTANA: the race celebrating Italian culture in Puerto Madero
The calendar also features a unique event: the MaraTANA, organized by the Consulate General of Italy, which celebrates its fourth edition on Sunday, April 26, in Puerto Madero.
Starting and finishing on Av. de los Italianos, this race in Buenos Aires combines sports with culture, music, and recreational activities, making it an ideal experience for the whole family.
Distances include 15K, 10K, and 3K, with staggered start times so everyone can participate, from experienced runners to those just starting out.
