
Buenos Aires has just launched its electric mini buses. Since May 1st, 2025, the electric mini-buses that connect Plaza San Martín with Parque Lezama, crossing six neighborhoods of Buenos Aires, have been running. The new service, free of charge for a limited time, operates every day from 5am to 1am, and offers a sustainable, silent and modern way of getting around downtown Buenos Aires. What is the route and stops of the mini bus in each neighborhood?
The total circuit is 12.3 kilometers long and consists of 36 stops distributed in six neighborhoods: Retiro, San Nicolás, Monserrat, San Telmo, La Boca and part of Recoleta. It is ideal for touring Buenos Aires in tourist mode, for those who work in the downtown area or those who want to move around these neighborhoods without polluting.
Some of the main streets and avenues along which it circulates include: Avenida del Libertador, Cerrito and Carlos Pellegrini, Avenida de Mayo, Paseo Colón, Avenida Almirante Brown, Defensa, Azucena Villaflor and av.Brasil.

Each stop is properly signposted and at several points it is possible to make combinations with subway lines, buses or bicycles . The mini buses were manufactured in China and have a capacity for 30 people (13 seated and 17 standing). They are fully electric, with a range of up to 200 km per charge, and are equipped with security cameras, air conditioning and driving assistance. The electric minibus service in Buenos Aires is free for the moment, no SUBE card or prior registration is required. You just have to go to one of the stops and get on. If you are in downtown or you want to move between Retiro and La Boca, you can move around Buenos Aires for free.
