San Fernando is half an hour from Buenos Aires and preserves a period architecture linked to the aristocratic families of the 19th century. You will find stately mansions, European-style mansions and green spaces. Many of these buildings were restored and today house cultural centers, municipal headquarters or museums. Belgrano Otamendi Palace
With its classical columns, symmetrical gardens and European-style details, the Belgrano Otamendi Palace is one of the most iconic buildings and one of the most attractive secret corners of San Fernando. It was built at the end of the 19th century by the great-grandnephew of Manuel Belgrano. It is said that the palace has hidden passages and areas that are never open to the public.

2. Quinta El Ombú
Originally a private estate surrounded by greenery, today it is one of the most beautiful cultural spaces in the municipality of San Fernando. The central mansion is in colonial style, has been restored and functions as a cultural and exhibition center. The surrounding park is ideal for strolling, picnicking or resting under the shade of trees. Guided tours are also available .

3. Casona Santa Cecilia
Casona Santa Cecilia is less known but one of the best kept secret corners of San Fernando. Casona Santa Cecilia surprises with its classic architecture and its air of another time. It is currently used for cultural events, workshops and activities for the whole community.
