Buenos Aires is getting fully into a new edition of Tango Week, which runs from December 10 to 14. And today, National Tango Day, the date adds a special meaning: it is the 90th anniversary of Carlos Gardel’ s death. In a city where the best tango shows and proposals such as classic tangos by candlelight coexist, these five days invite you to celebrate the tradition and the future of the genre with guided tours, concerts, tributes and much more.
Open tango classes at the Museo Casa Carlos Gardel.

The class is in charge of Florencia Zárate and Guido Palacios, world champions of Tango Escenario 2013, who know how to explain from how to stand to how to mark a turn. It is a relaxed proposal, designed so that anyone, from those who have never set foot in a milonga to those who want to take it up again, can dare to dance in the middle of Gardel’s house.
