This winter, the vacations bring you an incredible immersive experience with El Camino de Manuelita. An immersive experience dedicated to Manuelita, the most beloved character of Maria Elena Walsh’s literature, arrives for free at Palacio Libertad from July 16. We tell you all about Manuelita Inmersiva, an audiovisual and sensory experience that celebrates one of the most beloved characters of María Elena Walsh’s universe.

Inspired by Manuelita the turtle, Walsh’s beloved creation, the free immersive exhibition “El camino de Manuelita” in Buenos Aires transforms the Immersive Room on the second floor of the Palacio Libertad into a multisensory journey. Through interactive scenographies, immersive projections and sound environments, you will be able to accompany Manuelita on her journey through dream landscapes.
From Wednesday, July 16 through August 3, this immersive installation joins the more than 500 cultural activities offered by the Palacio Libertad.

In addition to being able to enjoy this Immersive Manuelita and travel with her on her journey around the world, many other spaces of the Palace also offer proposals inspired by the world of María Elena Walsh. On the first floor, the Salón de las Américas will host “Manuelita Peluquería”, a playful and colorful space where each participant will be able to choose unique and fun hairstyles.
Meanwhile, on the fifth floor, Room 504 becomes the stage for “Let’s play in the Upside Down Kingdom”, where free and creative play invites children to reinterpret the author’s classics with humor and tenderness. You can’t miss the guided visit and tour of María Elena Walsh’s work and all the spaces dedicated to her and her work this winter vacations 2025 in Buenos Aires. Manuelita Inmersiva not only invites you to play: it is also an opportunity for children to get to know María Elena Walsh, author of Argentine children’s literature and music, and inspire new generations.
