We die of cinephile happiness every month that Malba announces its new film season! The January film series at Malba is dedicated to dance and its maximum expression in cinema, musicals. This is the detailed program for this month.
Malba Film Series: Geene Kelly, Sui Generis and even Francis Ford Coppola
This November, Malba offers 24 well-selected films for you to discover the best musicals in the history of cinema, from the United States, but also European and even local productions.
In this film series you will find works starring dancers of the stature of Geene Kelly, a musical by Sui Generis and even a musical by Francis Ford Coppola. Some of the unmissable films: Singin’ in the Rain or Goodbye Sui Generis.
Don’t miss this film season at Malba from January 2 to February 2, with two screenings on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Malba’s January film season
Don’t think that in January there is nothing good to do in Buenos Aires. The films in the Malba’s film season program are your chance to see films you won’t find in any movie theater.
Also, if you are looking for a place to see films at midnight, the answer is here, because Malba has two screenings every Friday, and one of them is at midnight. You can make a great outing by going out to dinner at some of the best restaurants in Buenos Aires and leave the midnight after dinner to go to the movies.
Tickets can be purchased at Malba’s website or at the museum’s box office.
