The English Quarter is bounded by Avenida Pedro Goyena to the south, Calle Valle to the north, Emilio Mitre to the west and Del Barco Centenera. This corner of London was built in 1920 and designed in an Anglo-Saxon style that is still intact. You will identify it very quickly because the facade of this neighborhood of houses makes you think of many movies set in London.

Tour the English Quarter on a historic streetcar.
Every weekend, the Asociación Amigos del Tranvía invites you to travel on a streetcar identical to those of yesteryear and ride through the streets of Caballito. The starting point of this ride is Emilio Mitre at 500. On board of perfectly restored streetcars, you will be able to enjoy a 2 km ride without stops.
On Saturdays, the rides take place from 3 to 6 pm, while on Sundays from 10 am to 1 pm. Each tour lasts about 25 minutes, with departures every 20 minutes. No reservations are required and the experience is completely free of charge. The tour starts at Emilio Mitre 500, and you will walk through the cobblestone streets of the English Quarter, its brick facades, tile roofs and gardens that make you feel like you are really in London in Buenos Aires.
