January in Buenos Aires can be a challenge for the little ones if there are no plans in sight, but the classic event of every Buenos Aires summer is set to return. The 2027 Summer Sports Camps are opening their doors once again to fill the city’s sports centers with games, pools, and outdoor activities—all free of charge.
If you want to secure a spot for your children, you’ll have to act fast: spots are limited and are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis at the time of online registration. Here’s the definitive guide to make sure you don’t miss out: registration dates, locations, and required documentation.
When does registration open for the City of Buenos Aires’ summer sports camps?
The registration schedule is divided into phases based on the type of camp:
- General Camp (children ages 4 to 12): Registration opens on November 2 at 10:00 a.m.
- Inclusive camps (for people with motor, intellectual, or sensory disabilities, ages 6 and up): Registration has been open since October 5.
- Espacios Azul and Crecer (children ages 6 to 14 with ASD or therapeutic support needs): Registration opens on October 5.
- Protagonistas Program (youth and adults with disabilities aged 18 and older): Registration opens on October 5.
Registration is done exclusively online through the City Government’s official website at buenosaires.gob.ar.
Dates, times, and what’s included
The camps will run from January 4 through January 29, 2027.
- General Camp: Monday through Friday, full day, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Inclusive camps: Monday through Friday with extended hours, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Each camp is supervised by physical education teachers, recreation specialists, and coordinators who organize soccer, swimming, and handball tournaments, as well as art workshops. Three free meals a day (breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack) are also included.

When filling out the online form, you’ll need to attach a digital copy (clear photo or scan) of the original ID (front and back) for both the child participating and the parent or legal guardian.
