Four churches in Buenos Aires become the stage for immersive Verdi concerts in September
The initiative, in charge of the international duo Philharmonic Pictures and the orchestra Clásica del Sur , proposes a sensory journey where music, light and space merge into a unique experience. Each performance combines the power of Verdi’ s Requiem with architectural projections specially designed for each altar. The staging is based on the original texts of the work and explores universal themes such as the fragility of life, loss and rebirth.
Churches in Buenos Aires transformed into stages: From Russia to Buenos Aires

The idea of these immersive concerts in churches in Buenos Aires was born in St. Petersburg, where the first version of the Requiem was presented in the Lutheran church Annenkirche, an iconic space of the Russian independent scene that had been marked by a fire.
Its landing in Argentina is not a simple replica of the Russian version: each presentation in Buenos Aires implies a cultural and technical reinterpretation, which seeks to give a new meaning to the relationship between architectural heritage and artistic experience.
Immersive Verdi Concerts in Buenos Aires churches: Four churches, four experiences

In these immersive concerts that transform Verdi’ s Requiem into an immersive experience, four churches in Buenos Aires are transformed into the stage and space chosen for a unique concert. Each church will be transformed in a different way:
First of all, the projections are adapted to the unique architecture of each temple, so you can go to each concert in these selected churches and find novelties. You will also find visual and lighting variations that will make each performance an unrepeatable experience and the altar, the most important sector of the temple, becomes a living surface, where textures and movements accompany the score.
