The House of Viceroy Liniers: living history in Monserrat
The cycle takes place in the Colonial Patio of the Casa del Virrey Liniers, one of the best preserved colonial buildings in Buenos Aires. This 18th century house was the residence of Santiago de Liniers, penultimate viceroy of the Río de la Plata and a key figure during the English Invasions.
Declared a National Historic Monument, the house preserves its original architecture, with galleries, internal courtyards and walls. Today it functions as a cultural space and is one of those places where Buenos Aires shows its most intimate and patrimonial side.
With free admission, without reservation and in a unique historical environment, do not miss this cycle of heritage music, one of the best cultural plans of the summer in Buenos Aires.
📍 Casa del Virrey Liniers. Bolívar 462.
