If you thought that this week was not going to bring any surprises, there is news: the Symphonic Band of the City will give a free concert with the most famous soundtracks at Parque Centenario. A perfect proposal for those who want to listen live to the melodies of their favorite movies, in one of the most emblematic outdoor spaces of Buenos Aires and without paying admission.
Free in Buenos Aires: Star Wars, E.T. and the most iconic movie music in an open-air symphonic concert
The performance will be on Friday, December 5 at 8 pm at the Parque Centenario amphitheater, where the Buenos Aires City Symphonic Band will play under the direction of Carlos David Jaimes. The concert will be dedicated to film music and will have free admission on a first-come, first-served basis until the capacity of the venue is reached. It will be suspended in case of rain.
The program will include some of the most recognized movie soundtracks, with music from films such as Star Wars and E.T., both winners of the Oscar for Best Soundtrack. There will also be pieces from Forrest Gump, Dances with Wolves and Chaplin selections in symphonic version.
And all this outdoors, taking advantage of the spring days and in a park that many people already choose for this type of plans. The amphitheater of Parque Centenario allows you to listen to music outside, in a more relaxed atmosphere than that of a closed hall. A simple and attractive option to enjoy this repertoire in a different format.
