For a few days ,Buenos Aires will host a unique international event: three shows from Madrid’s most prestigious performing arts center are coming to the Teatro San Martín. The performances are part of the Madrid-Buenos Aires / Buenos Aires-Madrid Cross-Programming series and are waiting for you to see and experience a piece of Madrid in Buenos Aires.
“Viaje al amor brujo” – Spanish dance and music at the Martín Coronado Hall
From April 8 to 12, you’ll be able to enjoy theater, dance, and contemporary performances in various halls of the Teatro San Martín, as it is the venue hosting three stage productions that bring Madrid to Buenos Aires.
At the Martín Coronado Hall, the Spanish Ballet of the Community of Madrid presents “Journey to the Enchanted Love,” a show that brings together three works by Manuel de Falla with a musical thread curated by Dani de Morón.
The production combines contemporary Spanish dance with traditional roots in an intense and sensory theatrical experience.

“Numancia” – Cervantes’ classic tragedy comes to Buenos Aires
The Casacuberta Hall will present Numancia, the play by Miguel de Cervantes, adapted and directed by José Luis Alonso de Santos.
This is a classic of Spanish theater, recently premiered in Madrid, that revives a story of resistance, identity, and destiny with a contemporary staging.

“Boys in the Sand” – a contemporary play that pushes boundaries
The Cunill Cabanellas Hall will be the venue for Boys in the Sand, a creation by Israeli choreographer Adi Schwarz.
This is a male trio inspired by Wakefield Poole’s film (1971), considered a pioneer of gay cinema for its open portrayal of intimacy.
