From September 9 to 20, 2026, Buenos Aires will become the capital of the performing arts and theater with the arrival of a new edition of FIBA (Buenos Aires International Festival). It will be 12 intense days with more than 40 venues, including official theaters, independent theaters, and outdoor spaces.
Must-See International Highlights of FIBA 2026
- Dorian (Lithuania): An adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s classic conceived by director Robert Wilson in collaboration with the Liepāja Theatre.
- Contre-nature (France): a contemporary dance and performance piece that is one of the most anticipated productions on the European scene.

FIBAwebsite. - Free Tickets: For free performances requiring advance reservations, tickets become available 48 hours before each performance on the festival’s website. Performances in public spaces do not require advance reservations; admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.
- In-person ticket sales: The Teatro San Martín box office is open Monday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
How to Get Free Tickets to FIBA 2026 Performances
There are two ways to access the free shows and performances at FIBA 2026:
For performances in indoor venues and spaces with limited capacity, advance online reservations are required and become available only three (3) days before each performance via the official website. Digital tickets must be verified or picked up at the corresponding venue between 2 hours and 30 minutes before the show begins.
For urban interventions, site-specific works, and shows in outdoor parks and plazas, admission is completely free on a first-come, first-served basis.

- KIN (Long): Project Yeonhee I (South Korea): A fusion of Korean folk tradition and avant-garde contemporary dance at the Salón Mayor of the Usina del Arte.
- National productions at public venues: Theater and performance pieces scheduled at venues including the Recoleta Cultural Center, the Usina del Arte, and the 25 de Mayo Cultural Center.
