All afternoon long, this park in Recoleta awaits you, inviting you to immerse yourself in a world of activities designed for playing, creating, moving, and enjoying time with your family outdoors.
Free Children’s Day Festival in Buenos Aires: 7 themed areas to explore and enjoy outdoors with kids
On August 16, the United Nations Park will be divided into different areas designed for all ages and interests. You’ll find an Early Childhood zone specially designed for the youngest children, featuring a soft play area and games adapted to their developmental stages; a second area to rest, relax, and have a picnic in the sun or enjoy some mate; and a Movement zone with playful experiences, physical activities, and sports.
The park is huge, so you’ll also find a Creative Zone—a space to express yourself, make art, and play in your own unique style using colors—a play area with interactive activities, and a final zone dedicated to board games, with options to learn and challenge your mind through play.
Bikes, toys, and special workshops
In addition to the shows and play areas, to celebrate Children’s Day, this festival will feature activities where kids can learn to ride a bike without training wheels, a space designed as an interactive workshop to learn how to repair toys and give them a second life, and even a booth with activities and trivia for kids and adults alike.
But if you thought that was all (and it’s plenty), there are two events at this festival in Recoleta that you can’t miss: the performances and live shows by the Monster Buu Band and Topa. At 4:00 p.m., the Monster Buu Band takes the stage to get you warmed up and dancing to the most fun music under the sun, and at 5:00 p.m., the festival wraps up with a live performance by Topa.
On August 16, Topa will be at Floralis Park in Recoleta for a live show where the whole family can sing and dance along to his songs.
