Festival at Floralis Generica: The Giant Flower of Palermo has all its petals and celebrates it with live music and gastronomy until the night.
If you have no plans for this weekend, nothing better than celebrating the return of the Floralis Generica to Palermo with an outdoor festival where you can dance, eat and enjoy in one of the most picturesque places in Buenos Aires this Saturday, December 13 from 1pm to 9pm.
Starting at 1pm, the celebration kicks off with a gastronomic fair to explore outdoor flavors, accompanied by a live DJ that will put rhythm to the afternoon. Later, the stage lights up with a line up designed to enjoy until nightfall:
👉16 hs – Laser Beams.
👉18 hs – Chechi de Marcos
👉20 hs – Emmanuel Horvilleur

A unique repair that restored the Floralis to its original shine.
The party is not casual: the Floralis Genérica recovered its complete shape after an unprecedented intervention that combined techniques from the aeronautical industry, fluvial logistics and precision operations. Each petal traveled more than 150 kilometers by barge along the Paraná River and the RĂo de la Plata, before completing the last stretch by land to arrive back to Recoleta. The last of them was mounted just a few days ago, completing its iconic silhouette.
Created by architect Eduardo Catalano and inaugurated in 2002, the Floralis Genérica is one of the most recognizable postcards of Buenos Aires: it weighs 18 tons, measures more than 20 meters and is built in stainless steel and aluminum. Its restoration included:
With the Floralis shining again and a free festival to celebrate, this weekend Palermo becomes one of the must-see plans in Buenos Aires.
