Three nights of shows featuring Los Palmeras, Destino San Javier, and La Konga will kick off the 25th Provincial Dulce de Leche Festival and the Cañuelas Expo, running from Friday, November 13, to Sunday, November 15, 2026. The event will take place at the Cañuelas Fairgrounds in the province of Buenos Aires.
Cañuelas is already famous as the “capital of dulce de leche,” but this year’s event—the 25th edition—features a massive fair and a contest to select the best dulce de leche, with producers from across the province. It is organized by the Municipality of Cañuelas, and the event takes place over a long weekend—perfect for a short getaway from Buenos Aires: so it’s a great opportunity to enjoy a sweet getaway less than an hour from Buenos Aires.
Music, night after night

Each day of the Dulce de Leche Festival in Cañuelas features a headlining artist, and local acts also take the stage.
- Friday the 13th: Los Palmeras
- Saturday, the 14th: Destination San Javier
- Sunday, the 15th: La Konga
The lineup features cumbia from Santa Fe, cuarteto, and dance-hall pop, so it’s a great outing for groups or families.
What’s there to see
The organizers say there will be more than 500 exhibitors. At the fairgrounds, you’ll find:
- 50 companies, institutions, and businesses
- 70 food stalls
- 350 artisans
- 40 dulce de leche producers
The producers’ booths are the best place to taste, compare, and head home with a jar. The fair combines local production, gastronomy, and shopping all in one experience.
How to Get There
The Fairgrounds are located on National Route 205, near the entrance to the Ezeiza–Cañuelas highway. If you’re driving from the City, that’s the most direct route to Cañuelas, a town with a population of 70,684 according to the 2022 census.
Before heading out, it’s a good idea to check the official website of the Municipality of Cañuelas for opening hours and admission requirements, which had not yet been confirmed at the time of writing.
