The Uruguayan firm Indian has just settled on the corner of Florida and Perón, an entire building with clothes at a price that competes with the cheapest clothing places in Buenos Aires but of better quality. If you like H&M and Zara style clothes but want to pay less, you might want to check out Indian Market, in the same building where Falabella used to operate until a few years ago.
Clothes like H&M and Zara but at half the price: This is the giant Indian Market store that opened a few meters away from the Obelisco.
With a strategy very similar to international brands such as H&M or Shein, Indian disembarks in the heart of downtown Buenos Aires with low, competitive prices for everyone. On the corner of Florida and Perón.
In Indian Market you will find a building dedicated to clothing and apparel, as Falabella was in its time, before it left Argentina. Indian Market has the same style of the big stores where you walk among the clothes to choose from, the style is very similar to H&M or Zara’s clothes but with cheaper prices and obviously, in the heart of downtown. You don’t have to move from the heart of Buenos Aires to find the clothes you like.
In their racks you will find everything: T-shirts, shirts, pants, jeans, coats, shoes and much more. To give you an idea of the prices in this new store on Florida Street, you can find t-shirts from $4,900, sweaters and jeans from $9,900 and jackets around $19,900.
Indian Market’s style is like that of the big chains Zara and H&M, with periodic changes and rotations. That is, if you go at different times you will always find something new, without having to wait for the season to change. You will find clothes for women, men, children and babies. The store is huge and has fitting rooms, multiple payment methods and extended hours to adapt to the pace of downtown.
